Canburg, the parent company of British luxury brands, Smallbone of Devizes and Mark Wilkinson, has won the coveted ‘Emerging International Brand’ award at the 7th Sunday Times HSBC International Fast Track 200 Awards on 22nd September 2016 in London.

The award recognises Canburg’s impressive 110 per cent increase in overseas sales between 2013 and 2015 and was presented to Leo Caplan, Chief Executive Officer of Canburg by Amanda Murphy, Head of Corporate Banking at HSBC at a dinner attended by more than 200 guests at the Grosvenor Mariott Hotel. This success comes in quick succession from Canburg’s latest ranking in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, where it was listed in 18th place in June 2016. Canburg was the highest positioned luxury furniture company and had increased its ranking by 20 places from its previous listing in 2013.

Canburg is recognised for producing some of the world’s finest hand made cabinetry and fitted furniture. Its growth strategy has seen international sales increase significantly in recent years which includes its bespoke designs for major landmark residential developments in both North America and the Middle East.

The company has experienced particular success in New York City, where it has created custom handmade collections for Manhattan’s ultra prime residential condominiums. Key projects include Walker Tower and ONE57. While it also continues its global expansion with a number of projects in the Middle East. These include the extensive Emaar property development in the Dubai Hills which features bespoke cabinetry for kitchens, media rooms and dressing rooms of these luxury residences.
